I did my intro through my phone but it didnt post my fault! 
..
I am Lauren from Long Island, NY. Hubby & I have been together since we were 16 (25 now) & were married 6/6/10. We started trying for baby August of this year & got pg real quick. We told everyone when I was only about a month along. We were so excited, being our first pregnancy we couldn't keep our mouths shut! I had went in for my first ultrasound on 12/5, at 8 weeks and discovered a blighted ovum. DH & I were completely crushed. To see the ultrasound picture with an empty sac, was heartwrenching. Dr wanted me to have a d&c right away because I had lots of tissue & a larger sac & he felt I risked hemmorage if I m/c naturally. I had the d&c on 12/9, which went over well. The first few days were super hard emotionally but I got better day by day. Dr has been monitoring my hcg levels which are down to 9 as of yesterday. He asked us to wait 2 cycles until we can try again, which we are patiently doing! I look forward to chatting with all of you and offering all the love & support I can!
BFP #1 - 10/10/11, 1st U/S 12/5/11 @ 8w, BO discovered, d&c 12/9/11.
HCG @ 0 - 1/4/11.
