March 2012 Moms

Boy Name Opinion, Please! :)

Ok, so I put the boy's name Krzysztof/Kryztof out there a while back and my intuition to avoid it was strengthened by the wise March moms. So I'm back again with another name and looking for more helpful opinions on another name....

 Raynor Joseph

Raynor is my husband's middle name and yes it's a real name and yes I really do like it. He's not quite on board and looking forward to hearing opinions too. We are pretty much settled on Joseph for the middle name as that is my late father's name.

Thank you so much in advance for any opinions, thoughts and comments!

  • I like it! Unique without being too out there, and has family ties.

  • ya know what... I wanna like it. But I just don't. It sounds a bit kinda feminine to me. (Sorry to DH since that is his middle name afterall Tongue Tied) But I suppose if you ended up calling him Ray for short, it'd be ok.

  • Can you give us a clue (posibly a reminder, sorry if you did last time) as to what your last name is?

I feel like the two names are very different in style and possibly origin, but they might be tied together well by your last name.

  • I like it! You could always go with R.J. Has using Joseph as the first name been ruled out? Joseph Raynor could work too.

Last name is Italian and three syllables. Starts with G but sounds like J.

*Inserting made up Italian names into my brain to sound out the name...*

I think that could definitely work!

  • I like it, especially since it is a family name. I would also prefer RJ as a nn to Rayn.

    Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
