I tried grocery delivery (not Peopod, but loved it). I tipped $5. We have moved and don't get that service here. It would certainly come in handy, though.
Yes, I always tip. I usually choose the 'saver' delivery times, and order over $100, so the delivery fee isn't bad. I tip between $5-10,depending on how much and what I ordered. We have steps in the front, so if I order cases of soda or water (or pumpkins), I tip more. Totally worth it, IMO!
I used a different service a few years ago and it was posted all over their website not to tip the drivers. They don't want them carrying cash at all and their trucks have it printed on them in a few places "Drivers do not carry cash"
I can't imagine letting someone else pick out my produce...guess I'm a produce snob. Sounds nice for random things I need to go back for during the week. Of course, I love in a small town and the grocery is my entertainment
