I follow a vegan diet but I would love some new ideas for meals. any advice? I just tried yogurt made from coconut milk today and it was a great! I try to keep the soy products to a minimum... I'm also trying not to go on a carb binge (harder than it sounds lol) I'm thinking of trying some bbq tempeh
any ideas are appreciated, thanks!

We recently started eating alot of lentils-I had no idea how yummy they were! (heads up my meals are simple budget+soon to be 4 kids=easy!)
Lentil soup-1lb lentils, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, No-Chick bouillon (NCB) and water, simmer 20-30 min.
Lentil Chili 1/2 lb ea lentils and barley, onion garlic, tomato (chopped or lg can diced) corn (can or frzn) lots of chili powder and garlic salt (NCB-opt) I think I start with 5 cups water and let it simmer 40 minutes adding more h2o if needed-My kids LOVE this and it is super simple, my 9 year old makes it
My favorite is Black bean soup with collard greens- this recipe is amazing!!! Though I skip the OJ https://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2010/01/tropical-black-bean-and-collard-green.html
Do you follow Post Punk Kitchen or Vegan MoFO? Also Forks over knives (I follow on FB) posts links to recipes frequently
We used to not eat much soy products but since I have been pregnant and I felt like I wasn't getting enough protein (plus I hated all beans the first 20 wks) we added them in. Not sure what I am going to do once LO is here and I have to get creative again lol
I'm not vegan, but like to limit my meat consumption, particularly when my husband's not around. I don't have tons of suggestions, but here are a few that my husband and I both enjoyed and have made repeatedly:

I also really like lentils instead of ground beef for taco meat, nachos, etc.
