I feel like I am going to be pregnant FOR-EV-ER. If the RCS wasnt scheduled for 41 weeks, I think I would be.

Todays 39 week visit. Internal exam. 0 dilation and still only about 50% effaced with some softening. I think DR saw the saddness in my face because she promptly told me about a client of hers from last month who was the same as me but went into labor, and was at 8cm dil. when she arrived at the hospital... After being checked that same day. It was definatly a "buck up, its o.k." story.

**sigh** I dont want to have the scheduled RCS on the 12th. I want my little girl to arrive naturally before then please!!! Hear me God?(Gods, goddesses, universe.. whatever)

I dont care anymore if its a new years baby. I dont care if she shares a birthday with her sister on the 9th. I just want this to be a successful natural VBAC. And it feels like my body is telling me to "F off."

    I kept hoping I would go into labor naturally too. Even though I would still end up with a repeat c-section, I would like to experience it. I know your pain. Here's to hoping you get what you want!!!

    I had my 39 week apt. today too, and I've made no progress since last week.  I was 1 CM last week, and this week I'm the same.  I've also given up the dream of a NYE/NY Day baby.  I was excited though because my OB scheduled a growth ultrasound for next week to check out the baby's size.  I feel like the opportunity to see the baby via ultrasound again really has boosed me a lot.

    I could've sworn my shorty was coming early yet here I sit, with baby all up high in my ribs.  Sigh.  I feel you!

    I'm hoping so badly for a VBAC too, and am also in a race against the clock for my RCS. My body is doing absolutely nothing yet - no dilation or effacement. I get random contractions at times and have other 'symptoms' (that I know could last for weeks - far past my RCS date) but it gets my hopes up a bit since I never had anything going on at all when I was pregnant with him. I'm already losing hope that I'll actually go into labor before my RCS. I hope we both are able to have the VBACs we want!
