There's no way I'm the only one, right? It was only about a week or two ago when I was rubbing my tummy and I felt hard little appendages poking out at me from in there (I had never noticed it before), so I like to rub and kinda poke at them and I love that she reacts! Two nights ago I sat up for over an hour playing music and singing to her and she was going nuts. It was interesting because she was most active during mama's favorites - Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Joshua Radin... She did NOT like David Guetta, ha! She stopped moving completely when he was on, which surprised me because it is so much louder and more crazy than the music she was moving nonstop to. I'm having a ton of fun interacting with her! Now that she responds, I can't get enough of it!!
Am I the only one who is finding it hard to stop playing with baby? And if you haven't tried it, do it!!!
Re: I can't stop playing with this baby!!
I love being home all day on break b/c I am usually so busy and moving the baby isn't awake during the day! Now, I sit down and get sucked into staying sitting b/c I just want to watch my belly move and dance! This afternoon I felt like the whole back/backside pushing up on one side, so I'd push against it and LO would kick and wiggle...after about 5 minutes it had moved to a new spot like "Stop bugging be Mom!"
DH loves to poke her in the top of the head, does that count??
(wait for it.....yes, I'm a pervert today
)
I laughed out loud and my husband asked what was funny. I read this to him and he said "I don't like that..." haha!!!!!!
Sorry i must admit, it took me a minute, because i have such a clean mind!! lol sure
that was funny though.
When ever I poke him he pokes back a few times, but rolls away when I start to annoy him.
He either really likes it when I am at the doctors or really hates it. At our A/S at 20 weeks we could see him on the screen and he kept pushing back where the wand was. I didn't feel it though, could just see it. At 24 weeks ke kicked the doppler when they were listening to the heart beat. At 26 week u/s he kicked back on the wand and it was hard enough for the tech to see on the screeen and feel and se laughed.
At 28 weeks he kicked the wand again while listening to the heart with the doppler. Then Yesterday at my 30 week appointment, he kicked the wand so hard it made this very loud thump on the doppler. it sounded like when you hit a microphone that is on very hard. the nurse was holding the doppler but it took her by surprise and her hand lifted right off my belly. SHe said "whoa! He kicked pretty hard" and started laughing.
I love how strong he is getting. it makes it so fun!
