If you have the Tag Reader...

do your kids like it?

I really hope my kids like it (we got them one to share). It is a PITA setting this thing up- I'll be pissed if I just did all this for nothing! LOL (I'm banking on at least Nathan will like it. He's into reading and stuff like that- we got it because DH likes to do stuff like this with them and he's been wanting this thing for years- I ended up caving when it was $20 on Black Friday and I got the US map on clearance for $10- got 2 books for $8 each on black friday and the solar system pack for $14... so $60 for all that..)

    we have the tag and the Jr.  the Jr is a POS waste of $$.  both of my girls prefer the tag.  we also have the map and my girls play with it daily!  we've had them for almost 2yrs now and it's still a favorite.  it was a great buy IMO.

    DD has had hers for 2 years and still loves it not a waste here at all Santa got her new books again this Christmas

    We have about 12 books and Alex & Taylor read books a lot.  Like daily at least.  Dylan tries to get it out but doesn't really get it yet.  She mimicks her sisters though.  We got ours about 2 years ago and have definitely gotten our $$ out of it.

    My kids go through phases with it.  Partly it's my fault because I get lazy about plugging it in to change which books are on it when they ask me to.  I got DD the world map for Christmas and she is really excited about that.  Overall, though, it's been worth the money we paid since they got it 2 years ago and still use it.  Can't say that about too many toys.

    We have two now, and my kids all like it.  My 6 year old likes the maps, and my 4 and 2 year olds love the Cars 2 book.  We'll see how long it holds their interest, since they're still fairly new.

    My kids got the Tag Jr a few years ago and just got the Tag this year from my parents.  DH is setting it up this weekend and they girls are so excited.  They loved their Tag Jr and the Tag has way more options.  My LO got a set of 6 basic learn to read books as another gift so between the two of them, we have 10 books and they can't wait to use it.  Yes, the set-up part drives me nuts since my DH is not the fastest in getting to stuff like this but the girls are nagging him and we gave him through this weekend to get it done.
