Who has done the 30 day shread?

What did you think of it? After the 30 days, did you start over or move on to something else?

  • I did it religiously after my 2nd DC. I even dragged my weights and DVD's half-way across the country when we had to go to a funeral. I was so sick of it after every stage, but I wanted to see the results. I was on WW at the time, too. I ended up losing only abou 3-5 lbs., but I did tone up. Since then I have tried to start it again several times, but I was so burned out after the first 30 days that I can't find the motivation to continue after the first workout. I've found the Firm and Tae-bo workouts to be the best.

  • I have used it, but I went from doing it everyday to doing it 3x a week.  I definitely saw a difference, but I found that I needed to mix it up to get the best results.  Now I switch off between jogging, running up and down the stairs several times, and the 30DS dvd.

    * FYI - I found that I needed to add in calf stretches before doing the workout

  • Glad to know it's not just me. I do it but I kicked it back to about every other day or so and in between the days I will jog and the treadmill and do some strength training on my own because I was getting tired of the same thing daily. I have started to see a difference with toning though

  • I did it for a week every day, then got sick of it. I couldn't possibly do it for a whole 30 days.
  • I do the 30DS every other day. I'm on level 2 right now. I've been doing it for 9 months. I do elliptical training on the days I don't shred. I've dropped 80 pounds, I'd say it works?.
  • I did it before getting PG - I got it based off a friend who did it to prep for her wedding and she looked great, so that was a good endorsement.

I eventually made it to level 3, but was so sore in the beginning - you may need to take it down to every-other-day until you build up, but overall I think it's a great concept. Whether you do it religiously for 30 days or as a supplement - it's awesome to have a 20 minute option where you know you'll hit everything - and I'm more likely to do the DVD at home than I am to pack up and go to a gym. Looking forward to putting it back in the rotation after D day.
