Runny nose and sore throat: could this mean impending labor?

Did anyone feel sick before they went into labor?  I've heard of women having flu-like symptoms, but I'm not sure I'm having these same symptoms.

Yesterday I started sneezing and having a really runny nose.  Of course it turned into a sore throat last night.  This morning I'm stuffed up and feel a lot of pressure in my sinuses.  These don't seems like flu symptoms to me.

I was wondering if anyone else felt this way.

    I didn't feel good the day I went into labor, but not with the symptoms you described.  My stomach was a bit off and I was really low energy and tired.  Honestly, sounds like you might be getting a cold.  GL though!

    For your sake I hope not, because I actually did have the remnants of a cold when I was in labor and delivery and it was not fun. I lost my voice for like 3 days and could barely talk to my baby. Sad

    It sounds like a cold to me. The day I went into labor I was feeling very warm, and a little bit achey, but not sick. I also had a bout of potty problems (diarrhea).  That was par for the course though for my pregnancy. Instead of vomiting my m/s was diarrhea. 

    I hope its labor for you and you are not sick.

    Crap!  It sounds like I'm engaging in some wishful thinking.  It'll happen sooner or later.

    Sounds like a cold and I hope you don't end up with a c-section if you deliver soon. Coughing/sneezing/having to blow nose with an abdominal incision trying to close does not sound like fun.
