Crazy, busy, wonderful Watching DD with family was priceless. We spent Christmas Eve with K's family. When we walked in the door with DD and I set her down about 6 of her younger cousins (ages 6-13) all swarmed her and fought over who got to hold her. BabyT*T spent the next six hours getting moved from lap to lap just staring and watching in silence. Anytime K and I tried to get her she straight up refused and would run to a cousin.
And my parents...I think my parents had a constant stream of tears in their eyes they were so happy. My mom never set her camera down and my dad took DD for a walk and showed her off to the neighbors. No, he literally knocked on doors and said "Here is my granddaughter" - lol!
DD got pink eye and I had to take her to the ER to get meds since urgent care was close but it also meant we got to extend our stay for a day so it worked out.
I think that might be the last holiday we fly out there for awhile (of course I say this now) because while BabyTT is a great traveler and everything was good, it makes for a kinda crappy vacation for this parent who never once sat down and finished a drink ;-p

It's always crazy traveling with toddler, but in a few months you'll just remember how nice it felt to have your lil one loved so much. Sounds like it was a great holiday for all!
