Progesterone?
Hi there,
This is my intro post and a question 
There seems to be quite a few PGAL ladies on here who may be going through the same thing... I just got the call from the nurse today that I need to start taking progesterone due to my lab work on Tuesday. I'm kinda bummed since I was hoping everything would be fine this pregnancy (somehow I didn't take anything when I was pregnant with my daughter).
Does anyone know what side effects I should expect? They said I won't go back to the doctor until my 8 week appointment/sono. Anyway, would love to hear from someone who is in the same situation.

I was on a progesterone suppository to get KU with DS - if you have to do the suppository vs the pill/shot/cream - WEAR PANTY LINERS!!!!
I HATED them, it was so gross and I never felt clean. They basically mimic pregnancy symptoms - so sore boobs, bloating, irritability, tiredness
It's fun stuff but worth it to keep your little bean safe.
Don't know yet, I am picking the prescription up in about an hour. Sorry, I should have maybe known that info before I posted
The nurse just told me I will be taking it every night until I am 12 weeks.

I've only even known doctors to keep you on it until 12 weeks, I believe after that the body should take over just fine. Don't quote me on that though.
I'm not sure how many mg it is but I take the pill every night up until 12 weeks. My OB suggested taking at night to help reduce my actually noticing the nausea and tired side effects. So far it hasn't been too bad...but it's only been a week haha. Other than that I feel like I'm more pregnant than I felt at 4 weeks with DS and SUPER tired.
TTC started Oct '10
Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
DH: Low-T and borderline morph
18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
