that DD is FINALLY STTN!!!!!
the week before Christmas, we arranged for Tomas to sleep at my parents house for the weekend so we could CIO with audrey. since they share a room, it was not possible b/c she'd wake him up and then we'd have a whole host of other problems.
that thursday, she STTN 9-5am. tomas was still home that night.
that friday, she STTN 9pm-6am. tomas slept at my folks.
and every day since, she's gone to bed between 9 and 9:30 and slept until at least 6:30 and some days even until 7.
LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i started waking to use the bathroom almost immediately with her pregnancy, so it's been exactly TWO years since i slept more than 4 hours at a time (and the past few months, she'd been waking up twice each night).
i'd been hesitant to say anything b/c i didn't want to ruin our streak. but it's been two solid weeks now, so i can finally say it! and two nights ago, i finally STTN too (i'd been waking up, waiting for her to wake up). i slept from 10:30 all the friggin way to 7am !!!!!! it was sooooooo fabulous!!!!

mssaint - it will happen sometime! DS was 10 months when he dropped his 3am (after CIO) and 12 months when he slept from 8:30-6:30. DD is 15 months and i just couldn't take it anymore!
i wish this was an announcement of a different type! but unless something changes with our finances and house situation, that's at least a few years off.

Same here! But very excited for you! Sleep is such a wonderful thing.
So exciting! You must feel like a new person (says the lady who is not sleeping again, with the up to pee thing!).
