I will be 34 weeks on Saturday, but I want to make sure I have everything I need just incase I'm early.  Plus, it is getting much harder to walk and get around, so I might as well get things prepared while I can.  What have you packed or planning to pack in your bag?

Re: What to pack in hospital bag?
I packed last time:
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Soap (my hospital didn't provide)
Shampoo (again didn't provide)
Razor
DO
(some people pack make-up, but I didn't)
brush / comb
An outfit for me to come home in - compfy pants and a shirt and socks
Nursing tanks
PJ bottoms to wear with the nursing tanks
Robe
Slippers
Boppy (to help with BF) - So glad I had it!!!! So helpful
Camera & Videocamera - chargers for both
Cell Phone and Charger
(We didn't have one but laptop - plus our hospital had online on the tv with a keyboard)
My dh stayed with me and didn't leave so we put some clothes for him in there and also a toothbrush, do for him too!!
My mom came and brought the take home outfit for dd and also her car seat on the last day. So we didn't have to worry about that.
This time I am going to include nipple cream (I didn't have that last time)
Your welcome!!!
Good luck
Tell me about it....its hard and I have a toddler to chase around all day. Wait until you are on your second pg....Its a bit more challenging.....enjoy this time while you have it...rest and sleep!!!
**Don't forget the baby book - have it on hand so they can do baby's footprints while they are already inked for their own paperwork. Good luck!

I brought a few nightgowns that buttoned down the front. That way, I didn't flash our visitors or while walking the hall to the nursery. Also, a litle bag of snacks. I was starving with all that late night feeding but the cafeteria isn't open 24/7. I brought granola bars, dried fruit strips, and a few chocolate treats.
Our hospital provides the noise machine, but I would have brought ours if it didn't. The hallways are busy all the time and the slamming doors were really annoying.
Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, lotion, brush, chapstick)
Nursing bra (I'm bringing a nursing sports bra this time)
Yoga pants and maternity t-shirt to go home in
Socks and extra socks that I don't mind having to toss
Camera/charger
Cell phone/charger
Kindle
Boppy
Clothes for baby (newborn and 0-3 months. My 8lb, 8oz baby was fine in NB clothes last time), hat, socks, mittens so she doesn't scratch herself
Car seat!
I don't bring any diapers, wipes, pacifiers, etc, because they have all of that at the hospital.

Do you really wash and dry your hair in the hospital if there for a couple days? I am bringing body wash and a razor..didnt think about shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer...
hmmm
I guess it depends on your routine to begin with. I shower and wash my hair everyday. After being in labor with my first for two days, all I wanted was a shower and to get cleaned up. I think most hospitals have the hotel hair dryers and some sort of shampoo and conditioner.
I need to wash my hair daily or it gets nasty. I'm just bringing little travel shampoo and conditioner. No hair dryer.
