Sophie just recently transitioned from her Rock and Play Sleeper to her Crib. She sleeps in a sleepsac with a Snuza (alerts if no movement is detected). Her crib does have bumpers. She sleeps with a pacifier, fan on and a white noise machine. She also has a lovey and seahorse.
Sophia Elizabeth born at 28 weeks, 6 days. Weighing 3lbs, 3oz and 15 1/8" long.
Nothing besides his sheet and mattress pad. No bumpers, toys, etc. I took out the regular bumper and just bought a breathable mesh bumper that I need to put in.
bumpers, the sea horse, a lovey, another lovey, a taggie blanket, and a puppy stuffed animal. Yes my kid's crib is full of stuff. She's weird, she likes to chew on the ears of her animals (the pully stuffed animal, and both lovies which are some form of a bunny). When I get her in the morning, all the ears are wet.
nothing. we put the bumpers back in becasue she kept hitting her head and waking up screaming. I recently put in sophie or a teething ring at the 3am feeding. helps her go back to sleep
She currently sleeps in our room in her playpen with bassinet insert (as she outgrew her regular bassinet and I don't want to put her in her own room in her crib yet) with a sheet over the mattress, a lovey and a pacifier. She sleeps in a sleep sack over her footies or pajamas.
we have breathable bumpers, and her 4 layer Aden & Anais blanket (they are easy to breathe thru in case it ever wraps around her), and a binkie although she doesnt use it but she likes to bite it.
with the exception of the last post (which is adorable, btw) I want to applaud you ladies on keeping your posts serious and non-judgemental. These posts are usually full of snarky comments about how stuffed aminals will kill your child.
3 months ago, I would have said breathable bumpers, fitted sheet and maybe a pacifier. I thought that would be it forever...
Now- the breathable bumpers are foot rests or handles. He has 2 small animals (one wubbanub type, and the seahorse) a lovey, a small hand-crocheted blanket, and sometimes a teether. He can move around really well and sleeps best cuddled with things. The "toys" also help him soothe and fall back to sleep.
