I am posting from the hospital (where I am sitting up-yay). I went in on Tuesday after having the surgery postponed 2 times last week, which worked out well since I got to spend time with family for Hanukkah/Christmas. The surgery was ok. He had to cut more tissue and herniation out of my back so my scar is a bit bigger. I thought I would be feeling fantastic afterwards which was a big fat hell to the NO. The pain was horrendous and my blood count ( got down to 6.2) and blood pressure (lowest was 50/33) have been plummeting every time I sit up or try to walk the halls), so the back surgeon turned me over to an internalist who checked everything, gave me a bunch of steroids and IV fluids loaded with Potassium. The nurses have been less than stellar but whatever. So this morning my blood pressure was 99/55 (I think) but it has gotten up to 110/60 which is great! So looks like I may get to go home. Hopefully with some good pain meds and normal blood pressure. I would love some go home today dust because I miss my kiddos.

*hugs* sorry it's been rough, hospital stays suck, but you don't want to leave before you are healthy. It would suck to have to go back.

Oh wow, back surgery sounds no bueno. I hope your bp settles and you feel better and get to go home soon! Lots of healing dust to you!
