So I'm pretty upset right now for the fact that I have to find new daycare. The daycare provider I have now is absolutely amazing and I have been taking DS there since he was almost a year old and he will be 8 in March.
Due to unnecessary drama and immaturity, I have to find someone else because since my daycare provider is my ex-boyfriend's mom and him and I have been split for almost 5 years now (he's not DS's real father, I'm married and he's expecting with his gf). The gf doesn't like me and feels that his mom and I shouldn't have a friendship and has called her everything except "white woman" and making her life hell. The fact that my daycare provider is being treated like this is crap and I feel bad, but I don't want her to go through the unnecessary stress so I've decided that I'm not taking DS or LO there when she's born.
What does everyone else think? Am I making the right decision?
Re: Daycare
How does your DCP feel? does she think you pulling your DS out would make things better?
Honestly, if your ex's new gf is having issue with you taking your DS there, then I think the gf has trust issues ...or is a drama queen!
If your DCP is happy to keep watching DS and then your LO, stay put. Just remove yourself from the drama aspect of it.
