Tomorrow DH & I are taking A to see a pediatric neurosurgeon- her soft spot closed at only 5mos so the pedi is concerned that her skull may not expand enough to make space for her growing brain. It could be nothing- the soft spot may be covered with too much cartilage for the pedi to feel the soft spot, or it could actually be closed and sealed, in which case she may need surgery. I'm trying to tell myself (and my DH) that either way she'll be fine, but it's still a little scary to think my baby may need surgery on her perfect little head. If you have any prayers/good vibes/whatever your thing is to spare please send a few our way.

    Just know that either way, she will be fine. DH's friend's son had his soft spot close too soon and had surgery to make room. He is now a healthy 5 year old boy. Praying for the best for you.

    Thanks ladies- its a 2pm appt about an hour & a half from home, so it'll be a very late tomorrow update after sitting in rush hour on the way home.
