Pregnant longer with 2nd+?

I am 37 weeks 5 days today, the exact point I was when my ds#1 was born. My belly was bigger last time but I'm a small person so they told me the reason my water leaked was because there was no more room for him. This time around the pregnancy is so different with false labor over a week ago and now he's being stubborn. His feet constantly feel like they're pinching nerves in my belly and I'm hoping he comes before New Year's. My doc's office has told me all along not to expect to make it very far past 38 weeks. I was wondering is anyone else pregnant longer than they were with their first?

    I delivered at 38w with my first 2. I'm having lots of contractions, but they simmer down after a couple hours. Unless I deliver tomorrow, this will be my longest pregnancy.

    with my oldest i delivered at 41 wks,my second was born at 39 wks and my youngest was born at 35 wks so far im 37 wks so just the waiting game now to see what she does

    I was induced 40w3d...so I am really hoping for a natural labor this time before than but who knows!

    Here too....Although my dr is on at the hospital at 39w3 days and then not again until 41 weeks.  At yesterday's appt, I declined the earlier induction day, but if I don't go on my own by 41 weeks, I am sure we will both be ready for induction by 41 weeks.

    I definitely won't be pg as long this time as last time (41.5 weeks). Since I had to have an emergency c/s last time, OB will only let be get as far as 41 w before a repeat c/s this time around

    Not there yet, but I am really hoping! I had DS at 37w4d.m I would even be content if she waited until February! I don't want a baby too close to Christmas!

    #1 was 40w1d, #2 was 42 weeks. We'll see with this one. I'm hoping for a bit shorter!
