Hello all! I hope your day is going good! Quick question...
Today I'm meeting with a multiple specialist for the first time, my OB wants to have the remaining u/s done with this practice. And needless to say I'm nervous... What should I expect? I've had no problems thus far and both babies are tracking awesome (3.8lbs each at last weeks visit), but now they want me to go do dual monitoring...is this normal? It's my first multiple pregnancy and it's also been 11 1/2 yrs sense I had my DD. Any advise is welcome. Thanks!!
Have a great day,
Dustilou
Re: First visit with mutliple specialist...
Do you mean an MFM (maternal fetal medicine specialist) or a Peri (Perinatologist) - which are the same???
Just making sure. Most of us saw one before 32 weeks, so I didn't know if a multiples specialist was something else.
I know later on I have to start going to the hospital where I'll be delivering for the dual monitoring. So, I think that part is totally normal.
good luck!
