Names ready for both

DH and I will find out in 15 days if we're having a girl or a boy and we're ready for either. For a girl we've narrowed it down to two and hope when we meet her she'll be obviously one or the other: Olivia Marion or Charlotte Skye.

We have wanted the boy name for a year now and are really disappointed with both my mom's and my MIL's mock-horrified response to it. Is Archer Ronin really that bad??

    Archer Ronin is NMS, but the feigned horror is a little much. However, it is to be expected from grandmothers-to-be. They already got to name their kids. Now its your turn. I like Olivia Marion better by the way.

    I really like Olivia Marion - very pretty!

    Soooo tired of Charlotte, and I think the name Skye is really bad paired with it. Sorry.

    Archer gets a Yes. Not sure about Ronin though - it's definitely NMS.

    My only concern is that Archer Ronan can run together because of the backed up Rs.

    I like Archer.  I think Ronin sounds cool and it's a middle name... as in rarely ever used in real life.  If that's what you like, your families can get over it.  So no, Archer Ronin is not that bad... It's actually quite splendid.

    I think you may want to do a little research on Japanese history, concerning the name Ronin. It was NOT a good thing to be.
