My son is about 20 months old and I've just found out I have a mild cystocele (bladder prolapse). It was an easy delivery but he was a big baby at 10 lbs. What I'm heartbroken over is that the gyno-urologist that diagnosed me says no more running or lifting over 10lbs for the rest of my life Being strong, active and healthy is part of who I am so I'm really struggling to process all of this.
I'm going to get a second opinion in a few weeks but in the meantime was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and if and how you've been able to remain active.
Re: Anyone deal with pelvic organ prolapse?
I have not but am keeping this in the back of my mind in case it ever comes up.
