Seriously? Old people should not be allowed on FB.

My mom told her best friend from elementary school about the pregnancy and swore her to secrecy. Yet this morning, I woke up with a FB post saying, "Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and Tim!!!"

Indifferent  You have to be kidding me. I removed it, but I have no idea who else saw it. I'm sure she doesn't understand the difference between posting on the wall and messaging, but still. I'm pissed.

    Oh man, that sucks.  This is why I swore my family to secrecy for 12 weeks.  They were not happy about it but oh well.  I'm from a small town (where my sister still goes to church) and I didn't trust who they would tell.  I'm sorry, at least you were able to remove it.

    I talked to my mom, who talked to her friend, "I thought that only she would see it!" was what she said. ::facepalm::  If you aren't sure, don't do it!

    If anyone asks, I'm going to say that she was confused and thought we got a dog.

    Ha! Thanks for making me laugh. I'm just so irritated with this, I'm slammed coming back to work, and my head is killing me. So I'm feeling super gritchy this morning.

    My aunts call my mom anytime they see me post anything slightly worrisome.  I guess I should know better than to post on facebook about our spectacular car wreck before calling my mom and waking her up to tell her.  Oops. 

    It's for these reasons my dh hates facebook.

    Ugh, that is so frustrating.  When I told my mom (with specific instructions not to post on FB) she posted something along the lines of, "Got some very exciting news today.  Can't wait until I can share with everyone!" Come on!  Like people can't figure that out.
