BFers-milk coming in and knowing it has

I'm still pretty sure my milk hasn't come in yet, we're now on day 6. I don't have the sensation of a full breast and due to excessive weight loss in DS, we're supplementing with formula and pumped milk. I'm not seeing an increase in what I'm pumping either, but there's really no way to know since DS is feeding on both sides. 

How did you know for sure your milk came in?

    .I thought it had because i was pumping more and the color changed from the yellow slowly to white. I was really sure when i woke up and had soaked my shirt. Which i think took about 10 days or so. Dont get discouraged just keep pumping, And i got this tea from the health food store, called organic mothers milk, traditional medicinals makes it and it really helped me make more. Really not to much either i think i paid about 6 bucks for a box.

    This is probably unhelpful but I felt very full. I also started to feel let downs which for me is a tingly feeling and a feeling of build up and release.

    When it starts to come in my breasts get really hard and sore...after that it is a few days for the milk to change from yellow like colostrum to whiter like actual breast milk...and I start getting more and more as the days pass and the hardness in my breasts goes away.

    mine came in while i was still in hospital recovering from my c-section. I have big boobs to begin with (was an f before getting pregnant) but for me it was very painful & i had a hard time breathing. my boobs were very hard & heavy & they went back into my armpits. i would feed DD but would have to pump too just to be able to breathe. i was told it was worse for me than others since "i have more storage space" but now that she is eating regularly its not as bad they feel normal but get hard before she needs to eat...

    My milk came in two days after having her.  It was white, instead of yellow and it was like my boobs suddenyl grew and were huge.

    milk really came in on day 6.  Boobs were rock hard and very hot, felt like they mightt explode.  Had to pump to soften enough for DS  to latch on to them.  Now several days later they are much less full and more comfortable.

    I exclusively breastfeed, on day 4 my milk came in and my boobs were very hard and engorged

    I knew because my breasts got really full/heavy and SORE! It was really unpleasant feeling... like my whole chest was bruised :-(  That only lasted about 2 days though and now they're mostly normal again.  

    It came in about 4 days after DS was born.
