When does the numbness go away! Oddly enough, it seems to be worse on my right side. Weird.
Yes it does go away but it takes a while. Also the numbness can be from the epidural as well my left thigh on the outside had some numbness but my OB said that it was normal plus you have to remember that they are cutting nerves so it takes awhile for them to heal. My aunt had triplets 8 years ago and she told me there is still a spot she cant feel.
I've had 2 sections. I'm 9 months since my second and I am still numb. Something makes me think I always will be and it will get worse if I have anymore kids.

I don't have much numbness, but wanted to bring up what my OB told me. I was having some mild pain on the right side at my last check-up, not even at the incision site, but next to it, and she told me that generally the doctors are on your right side when performing the c-section - so, when they pull the baby out it tends to stretch/tug more on the right since they're pulling from that side - hence why a lot of women have more issues with their right side!

11 months PP and I am still numb.
Some woman never get over it, some do. Time will tell but it is most definitely going to stick around awhile yet.
