I'm still feeling baby moving, just much less the last few days. I was getting a lot of big rolls & jabs & now it's like LO is barely shifting a leg or arm to get more comfortable. The heartrate was normal yesterday @ my OB appt but lower than usual. When I called to inquire when I should be concerned, they said I should come in to be monitored. I feel like I'm worrying to much, but then I'd hate to ignore it & have something be wrong.

At 36 weeks the same thing happened to me. I couldn't feel the baby move at all. It freaked me out and I went in for the NST and everything came back perfect. A few days later he was back to his normal active self but the NST made me feel so much better. It's definitely worth it to go in for the test and make sure everything is okay. It'll put your mind at ease. As my midwife says "happy healthy mommy equals a happy healthy baby"
Also, I was kind of embarrassed when I went in and found out everything was perfect. The doc said not to worry because it happens ALL the time. Sometimes babies just have sleepy lazy days like we do.

I have a feeling this is the case, but sometimes it just feels better to know for sure. I think partly it caught my attention because normally the HR is in the 150's & yesterday it was 138, still normal & healthy, but much lower than it has been the entire pregnancy. I'm feeling baby move as I type this, just not the same as most days. so I'm probably just being paranoid.

I had decreased movement with DS last time at one point and when my Dr popped his head in at L&D to tell me everything was fine, i started apologizing cause i felt like a crazy pregnant lady overreacting, at which point he sat down next to me and said, "you did everything right, to tried drinking cold fluids, all the usual tricks. Its better to come get checked so if something is wrong we have a fighting chance if something had be wrong. Don't apologize for listening to your instincts."
