Re: Merry (late) Christmas, girls!

  • Merry Christmas! We made it to and from the Tri-Cities and had a great holiday with family. Glad to be home again now! Back to work tomorrow, sigh.

  • Great first Christmas as a new family. :-) It was nice not having any obligations and worrying about being somewhere by a certain time, etc.  It was the 3 of us at home the whole time.

  • It was exhausting, frankly.  I enjoyed seeing most of the people we went to visit, but we were at 2-3 houses every single day.  I don't feel like I had anything resembling a vacation, but we're still very blessed to have our family, friends, health, and some lovely gifts (plus a few to laugh about).

  • We had a wonderful holiday with my parents and grandmother, then got to meet my brother's girlfriend's family. Also went out to dinner last night with a group of friends I grew up with who are usually scattered around the country. Back to work today, but working from my parents' house so semi-vacation (ie I don't have to cook dinner). Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays, or at least a day or two off from work!
  • It was the most laid back relaxing holiday ever!  The house is still a disaster zone but I kinda like it and I'm actualy happy to get all of us back on routine, for 3 more days until we do it all over again!

    Merry Christmas, all!

  • Ours was super busy, starting the 23rd and going through yesterday.  We were planning to host for my family, but my sister threw a fit and my parents hosted, so we were disappointed, annoyed at the childishness and put out as we'd already prepared for hosting (planned the meals, shopped, cleaned/set up, etc.).  Other than that, though, it was a great few days with friends and family.  Today is back to work and routine.

  • It was great- very low key and I didn't have to host Christmas this year. :-)
