I had sleeping issues pre-pregnancy that I took meds for, on and off. I have barely slept more than 3 or 4 hours a night (interrupted hours, too) for about 2 or 3 months. I'm exhausted Anyone else really having some serious sleeping problems?
Me! I don't think I have ever really totally slept through the night without at least waking up and looking at the clock at least one time in my life. I am used to that but before I would just be able to turn over and go right back to sleep. Now I wake up and am wide awake for a while and try to get comfy but just cannot so basically I toss and turn until I finally fall back to sleep. Usually I am back up within 90 mins doing the same thing again. I am very tired and obviously look it as well because that is the comment I hear the most from people.

I also took sleep meds on and off prior to pregnancy. Tylenol PM has been my lifesaver this week. I take two about an hour before I go to bed. It helps with the hip and back pain I have from only being able to lay on my side at night and it helps me to get to sleep, stay asleep and if I wake up to pee I am able to fall back asleep easier.
ME! No matter what I did in the bed, I could NOT get comfortable...legs, knees, hips, carpal tunnel. I moved to the oversized chair and ottoman in the living room. I want to sleep on my back so bad, because that's how I can get comfy, but seeing his heart rate drop and was sent to L&D for monitoring after an ultrasound, I know I can't...so, I moved. The chair was actually not too bad...it even lessened the pain I was having due to carpal tunnel. I did that for about a month I guess. Last night, I moved back to the bed because it's been killing me not sleeping with SO...I didn't sleep terribly but not great either. So, I'll stay there I guess until I start getting no sleep again. If you don't have somewhere to move to...try propping yourself up in the bed, that might help.
I have been taking Unisom as well and its been a miracle! I slept last night from 10pm-10am with getting up about 4-5 times but being able to fall back asleep pretty quickly (even with baby moving all over the place)... I am going to switch to 1/2 in a few days when I have to start getting ready to head back to work.
I go to bed pretty early. So I have a problem cause I wake up at 3 a.m. Stay wide awake till about 5 then I'm exhausted and fall asleep but
Today I realized I'm probably hungry, but not starving hungry. Just enough that I want something to tide me over till 7 when I actually wake up. I'm going to keep a snack on my bedside table and see how that works for me.
Me. From Having trouble breathing to heartburn to hip pain. I hate dh for being able to sleep so comfortably. It makes his snores even more annoying
This, plus a DD who likes to wake me up just as soon as I've finally drifted off. That girl owes me some serious hours of sleep and I look forward to waking her up EARLY when she is a sleepy teenager.
I have to take ambien to sleep more than about 3 hrs (and those 3 are not consecutive). Unfortunately, I have to be very careful when I take it because I have to have at least 10hrs to sleep and let it wear off before I can function. This means I can't take it if I have to go to work the next morning :-(
Yes, serious sleeping issues! I guess it's preparing us for late night feedings, diaper changes, colic, and all those other things that will cause us to have sleepless nights. But I still HATE it!

Yes, I know exactly how you feel! I've been battling terrible insomnia/anxiety since 23 weeks. It's been awful and I've had to go on some pregnancy safe meds for it. It seems to be a little better now, but my sleep is still very interrupted. I only get a handful of hours and they are broken up every night. I remember lots and lots of dreams....
