I went back to work today

Everyone I've encountered have been so wonderful and supportive. I did have a couple of people just blatantly avoid me but I since I didn't care for them that much beforehand, it didn't bother me, lol.

It sucks a little because I remember the last time I was at work, it was two weeks ago, the day before Ethan's birthday and I could remember what I did exactly on that day. It's always the 'firsts' that I'm finding to be difficult. I know I have a lot of firsts to still experience so I'm antsy to just get those done and over with.

    *hugs* The firsts are the worst, but once they're past, everything seems "normal"....just a new normal.  I'm glad your coworkers have been supportive!

    It's been 5 wks since our little angel was born still. I've been back at work somewhat part time for about 2 1/2 wks now. I just wanted to say that it gets a little easier but there are horrible days when I can't even focus and am completely worthless work-wise. The worst part for me was how everyone else is back to business as usual but I'm constantly on the verge of tears.  Luckily, I work at the same company with my husband and have a lady here I consider our "work mom" that helps us get through our bad days.

    I hope you have a support system at work as well as at home. Good luck to you.

    The first few days are super hard, but they get more manageable. Make sure that if you need to cry, do it. don't hold it in

    hugs... it does get easier.  I hope eventually we won't have firsts anymore.

    *Hugs* Firsts are so hard, and sometimes it feels like they keep coming. Going back to work for the first time was one of the worst, though. I'm glad you have a mostly supportive environment and got through it okay. If you're like me, you need a drink now Drinks

    I'm glad you have had a decent experience thus far. You're right, the firsts feel bad, along with the anxiety that comes with them.
