I suspect my DD has a UTI, we have a dr. appt. made, but I was wondering...do they always run a fever if they have one?
Growing up I would get bladder infections/uti all the time, I can't recall once ever getting a fever.

Fevers don't always go along with a UTI. If you have a UTI accompanied with a fever, it may mean that the UTI is more severe and possibly progressed to the kidneys. Many people can have UTI's without fever, though.
Anytime I suspect DD may have a UTI, I always take her in to give a urine sample. Its better to be safe than sorry and let things get worse!
My DD is very very prone to UTI's and has had many. She has never once ran a fever with them though..I believe because we catch it pretty soon after we see symptoms...extremely fussy and now that she is a little older she will cry when she is peeing and grabs herself and says poo poo....also her urine will smell a little stronger with them.
