  Update: WTF is on 1/26/12. It seems like forever away, but I know it will be here before I know it.

  QOTW; No real plans. We are more the stay at home and ring in the New Year on our own type people. I think we are going to have the original three Star Wars movie marathon.

  Started lupron last Wed.  Last bcp was 12/24 and AF is now here, so I'm calling the RE tomorrow to set up an apt this week. If all looks good, I'm starting stims later this week for IVF 4.

  Update:  Holy hell -- as soon as I get AF, IVF #1 is rolling.  We've passed the injects class, are ordering meds tonight, and cut the big fat check last week.  Please move me to January cycle. 

  QOTW:  No plans yet, but a possibility of going to a friend's house for a bonfire in the cold, with drumming somehow involved!
  

  Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

  IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

  Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

  Update: WTF is on 1/9...DH and I are not sure which direction to go from here...likely we will try IUI again (insurance covers) and he'll try to get a referral to a urologist. IVF #2 will probably be in late spring 2012. Thank you all for the support during my cycle - you have no idea how much it meant to me.

  QOTW: No plans for NYE yet...DH and I might just hang out at home.

  Update:  Have a little good news - Dh is leaning towards agreeing to cycling again (we have been butting heads for the past 2 months)!!!  When will we cycle...I don't know....I am just working on 1 step at a time right now.  Having him agree is a HUGE step right now.

  Update: Got AF on Christmas Eve.  Called RE today (CD3) and they weren't there, so I left a message.  UGH...so I may have to wait until my NEXT period to get started on IVF #4.  So frustrating.

  Update: Today is 8dp3dt for me.  Going a bit stir crazy and planning to POAS every morning until my Beta on Friday.  I bought some cheapie HPT online, only prob is that I'm not sure if I'm reading them correctly or not.  This morning it looked like 2 lines-but you had to hold it just right.  I had a Clearblue Easy digital and that came up negative this am.  Know it's still really early and I'm going to try to stay + until at least Wed or Thursday.  Bought 3 FRER this am, one for Tues, Wed and Thursday.  I feel much more comfortable reading those and I know any line is a BFP.  Know that trigger is long gone since early last week.

  QOTW: What are your plans for NYE?  We will be staying home, and probably going to bed at my usual time.  I work at 0730 on New Years Day, so staying up late will just make me miserable the next day-so not worth it.  2012 will show up no matter what, whether I'm awake for it or not.  If my Beta is + on Friday, there will be no drinking for me.  If negative, will probably have appetizers, margaritas and a movie night.

  I am between cycles again . AF came 4 days early while I was OOT, so I am back to using OPKs later in the week. I was delayed, postponed, cancelled, whatever you call it.

  Update:  Just waiting out the 2ww.  I am 6 dpo right now, so still a ways to go.  I am trying to decide if I should start testing out the trigger - that way I will know whether a line is real or not when I get impatient and test. 

  QOTW:  What are your plans for NYE?  DH and I do a low key New Years Eve.  We have a few people over, usually just my BFF, her DH and their girls and sometimes a couple of other people.  We make appetizers and have mixers for drinks.  DH loves to break out his shaker and mix up different things.  We watch the ball drop and then run outside to bang pots and pans at midnight.

  Hi I am new to the IF IVF check in and am currently cycling for IVF#1  I started BCP's on 12/23.  GL to everyone cycling and Hugs to everyone who needs them over the holiday season.

  NYE plans?  We don't have any yet...DH and I will probably go out to dinner and drinks but other than that it looks to be a slow/boring NYE.

  Update:  I'm hoping I will get to go forward with my D&C that is scheduled for tomorrow.  I tried to have one done last week and they wouldn't go through with it since I had a ton of fluid in my lungs, which turned out to be pneumonia.  I'm hoping it has cleared up enough so that I can just get this stupid D&C over with and move on.  Once that's done, I have to take a break cycle, and then I'd like to do the FET I was originally planning for this month, before the surprise BFP.  

  QOTW:  DH's birthday is January 1, so NYE plans are always up to him.  We're going to his favorite restaurant with some friends/family for a late-ish dinner, and then we'll all head back to our house for some drinks.  I'm probably going to end up DD this year since I will still be on antibiotics for my pneumonia on NYE.

  Big strong hugs for you ladies -- happy hugs for the congratulations, and comforting ones for those who are dealing with sadness and frustration...

  I just got the go-ahead for stims starting today, so ... IVF2 officially began! 

  QOTW:  I really don't know, nothing planned right now.  My husband's 40th is Wed so we are planning a nice dinner out that night, and he has friends from out of town coming around the 4th so we will do something for his bday when they are here too... so NYE might be a quiet at home night.

  Update:  I have my ultrasound on Jan 4. I am not ready to move to PAIF yet. Nothing about this seems real. Im scared.  Its so weird, you get so used to negative things for yourself, tests, betas, etc. That when it is positive and it is looking ok, it is very hard to believe. I think I will feel better next week. 

  QOTW:  What are your plans for NYE? NYE is big for DH and his family -- its the Russian Christmas, so if MIL comes down we will have a big dinner, lots of vodka and wine (for them) and thats it. DH has to work all weekend so nothing too crazy.

  QOTW  We are going to Palm Springs for a 3-day getaway starting on Friday. DH planned it before IVF as a way to either grieve or celebrate the new year.

  Please change the date of my first u/s to January 6, not that 2 days make much of a difference, but I needed to reschedule.

  I am also new to IF IVF check in and will be starting my 4th cycle in January should get A/F first week of January.

  Married April 2010 TTC since ME 37 (DOR) DH 27 AMH 0.16 FSH fluctuation 30/6.2 SSH Clear Taking DHEA BCP 8/17/11 IVF #1 start 9/3/11 - Follistim (225),Lupron,and Lo dose HCG Converted to IUI only had 2 follies BFN BCP 9/28 IVF 1.2 start 10/11/11 - Follistim 450 + lo dose HCG
  Converted to IUI only had 1 follie BFN BCP 11/3 IVF 1.3 start 11/13/11 - Follistim (300)+Menopur+Dexamethasome - Made it to ER:) but not ET:( embies stopped growing day 3 IVF#2 new RE Estrace 12/8 adding in Provera 12/23 until 1/1 menopur,follistim,dexamethasome,ganerelix ER scheduled for 1/17wewBFFN w We are pursuing donor egg. 8/20/12 Had hysteroscopy to remove polyp but found that i have a t shaped uterus. Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.

  Hey guys, can I re-join the check-in?  We just finalized our timeline for IVF #2 and will be starting stims the second week of January.
