We're relaxed around here, but ds is getting close to 3 and goes to bed between 8 and 9. We usually start the routine at 7:30 and are out of his room by 8, but sometimes he stays awake for awhile. No screaming. He gets whiney when he's overtired. (He also naps 1.5--2.5 hours during the day during the week-not as much on weekends.)

Usually 7:30, but sometimes 8:00 or 8:30, depending on how late he napped and how tired he is. There's never any screaming. This boy loves to sleep. Thank goodness.

She goes to bed. Usually she doesn't scream, but she had been doing so the past few nights. Now at bedtime I tell her she can go into the living room and pick a stuffed animal to bring to bed with her and that seems to have worked.

Technically bed time is 8pm. Some nights it's a bit earlier, some nights it's a bit (and rarely even a lot LOL) later. If they took a long nap or just aren't tired, sometimes they'll stay awake talking for a while. Occasionally one or the other will get out of bed a few times. Once in a blue moon they'll even cry for a few minutes. No screaming though, thank heavens.
DS (almost 4) and DD (2 in a few weeks) both go to bed at 8 pm. Very rarely do they go earlier, and sometimes it's between 8 and 9. And neither puts up a fuss.
And FWIW, DD still naps about 2 hours in the afternoon, and both wake up around 7 am.
Cedric goes to bed at 8pm. No screaming though, he is in a toddler bed and will sometimes come to the door and ask for more kisses...usually can't pass that one up!

between 7:30-8am lights are out. i lay with her till she falls asleep so there is no crying. have you tried a nightlight (maybe one of those with shapes to watch on the ceiling), or a flashlight next to the bed? maybe find something to make bedtime fun and cozy?
Usually between 6:15 and 6:45 every night. (he doesn't nap well, so he is very tired by 6pm). No screaming, but he will whine a bit if he's overtired. Sometimes he falls asleep right away, sometimes he talks for a bit before falling asleep.

This is our routine as well but LO goes to be more around 9
She's in bed at 7:30. No screaming/crying. Sometimes she stays awake for up to 45 minutes, but she'll just play with her stuffed animals, talk or sing.
Bedtime is about 7 PM. Starting at 6:30, I brush her teeth, read to her, rock her, kiss her goodnight and put her down drowsy, but still awake. She typically falls asleep within 3-5 minutes of me leaving the room.
Re: What time is bed time?
8pm. No screaming.
My older children do get out of the bed sometimes esp tonight as they both took a mini-nap today.
we all go up at 7:30 and the twins go to bed first... so they are in around 7:45-8pm (if it's a bath night we go up around 7pm)
Griffin is in bed between 8pm-8:30 (he's almost 5).
nobody screams.

9pm. We ask him if he wants to go to bed, and he almost always says, "Yes!"
There's never any protesting, even when he initially declines the invitation for bed.
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
We start the bedtime routine at 830-845. Out of his room by 9.
He sometimes whines and then falls asleep. I'd he is having a rough night we let him cry alittle bit , if he is screaming we just go in.
