Since Alex is boy number 2 for us, we don't need a lot of stuff for him. I have tons of Danny's things for him. So instead of getting him stuff he doesn't need or that we don't have the room for, she gave him Lego ornaments. She got several large clear plastic balls at Micheals. Then she bought a Lego set. She sorted them out by color, red, green, blue, and other. She filled up the balls, taped them shut, and attached ribbon to hang them along with a tag that said "Do not open until 2016" So for the next few years, we'll hang them on the tree and when he is 5 and old enough to have regular Legos, then we'll open them up!

I thought it was cute and different!
