  I could write a novel but I'll keep it brief:

  1. Spent wayyy too much on food and bought wayyy too much to eat!

  2. Trifle was a waste of time and money.

  3. I learned that I really need to do just about everything ahead of time if I want to see my son open gifts.

  4. Next year I think I'll order just about ALL food and hire a server (probably would have been cheaper).

  5. My kid can sleep through more noise than I ever thought possible.

  6. Everyone was well fed and had a great time!!

  7. I didn't get 1 family picture of the 3 of us in all 3 days of our Christmas celebrations!!

  8. Would have, could have, should have...

  9. All in all, I think it came out pretty darn good and my family told me I can do it again next year

  10. This will be my 10 things tuesday a day early.

  Sounds like it went pretty well for your first time.

  Maybe next year you could have people bring a dish so you're not making *everything*?
