New mommy...

Just making an introduction! I just became a mommy on December 23rd. My baby boy was born at just over 32 weeks after my water breaking The 19th of December. They were able to get steroids in for his lungs and he is doing amazing. I was able to be home for Christmas, but it was very hard leaving him behind. He is doing great though and should be home in no time.

    Congrats on your little guy's birth!! Leaving my guy in the NICU was one of the hardest things I've done. So glad your LO is doing so well! Keep us posted on his progress.

    Congratulations! I had a 32 week baby boy on Oct. 23 and was also able to get the steroid shots for his lungs. Glad to hear he is doing great! It is definitely difficult to leave them behind....Please keep me posted on how he is doing!

    Congratulations and welcome to the board! My LO was born at 31w3d after my water breaking at 30w5d.  She did great in the NICU and was home after 35 days! I hope your NICU stay remains uneventful and your little guy is home soon.

    Congrats. My guy was born in August at 33w1d and I was only able to get one steroid shot. We missed the 2nd one by 3 hours. He couldnt wait to come out any longer. We only stayed in the NICU for 18 days. Its over 3 months later and he is doing great. (although he is not without challenges, but what baby isnt?) Hoping your NICU stay is a short one and you will be together again soon!
