Told my parents last night

It took my mom forever to get it! I had her open the ornament with the pink an blue bird and the egg in the nest. Here is what i remember, it was a blur! M is mom, S is for me, T is my husband.
M- oh, this is sweet. Where did you get this?
S- uh, I made it.
M- you made it? Where?
S- um, at home.
M- oh, well its darling... Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something Im missing?
T- what's on it?
M- two birds, chickens...
T- and?
M- and an egg? You like chickens? 
Sarah and Tim laugh.
M- (starts to cry) wait, are you, is it?
S- (crying) yes! 
Hugs. It was the first I'd cried. It feels more real now!
