DS enjoyed opening the first couple and then he got distracted with one of the toys and wasn't interested in opening anything else because he wanted to play.
Yup! We got him a 3-2-1 Trike and that's all he wanted to mess with at first (probably b/c it was already put together). Then when he started opening stuff he would be interested in one toy at a time. It took for.ev.er for him to open his stuff, lol!

This is how we opened gifts at my house growing up. We would open a gift, play with it, and then move on to the next one. We took a break for breakfast and we were usually done around lunch time.
DD was taking a while to open her presents too. But after she opened her doll, it was all over. That's the only thing she's been playing with. I ended up opening her last two so I could put them together while she played.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
C helped rip the paper off several last night but only if we really helped him. He was not interested in any paper ripping today, just the gift (Step 2 welcome home kitchen - loves it) from Santa.

This! DS is now playing with an empty box and wants to take the trash outside. We would prefer opening all of the presents before taking it out.
my little guy sort of enjoys opening a present for the first 5 seconds. If it's not totally open by the end of the 5 seconds, he's on to something else. And once he got one toy opened, that was it. I opened a bunch of them for him. I think with the age, they just get easily distracted. He liked putting the presents back into the gift bags and helping me clean up afterwards, so I was happy about that. Eventually, after everything was opened, he made the sign for "more" (i.e., more presents?) and I said no, so he went to play with his old toys and watch old dvds. It was still funny/fun to watch him.
ds took the bows off each one of his presents but that is it. he couldn't care less about ripping paper...so i had to open the presents that i had wrapped for him. lol.
LO did not care a bit about Christmas. Didn't open a single present and started playing with his old toys. When we were opening his gifts, he decided to go and play with the dishtowels instead. I should have just wrapped them!
Mine does well opening presents and did great leading up to Christmas (gifts we received as we saw family) however today, he unwrapped about 5 or 6, then gave up.
