Gender Scan... and Random Observations

Is it wrong of me to admit the thing that I'm looking forward to most this holiday season is finding out what my baby is??

We're supposed to find out in two days, according to my doctor. I don't think any other Christmas gift can top this! I can hardly wait!!!

Also- we Skyped with FI's nieces, who are ridiculously excited about their very first cousin: the littlest one, who is four, leaned in to the camera, stuck out her lip and said, "How is my baby?"

So far, it's been a very good Christmas :). Wishing the best for all of you this holiday season!

    Are you sure you will be able to find out the gender? It seems a little early to me...

    yes, it would be very early for a gender scan if your ticker is right...

    That's what i thought too- apparently my doctor seems to think that we can easily find out what the baby is. I live in Korea currently and have gotten an ultrasound every appointment- it seems to be common practice to try for a gender scan early.

    Im right there with you.  I have to wait til January 16th, and the midwife says its about a 50/50 chance we will be able to tell the sex, but Im seriously becoming a bit obsessed with it.  I will be happy with either but I just want to know! I dont know how women wait til they give birth to find out.

    I personally wouldn't go shopping for gender specific things based off a scan this early, even if the tech or doc was so sure of himself.

    Oh, I'm not shopping at all!!! :) I just can't wait to find out! And either way, it's our first, so we'd be happy with either. We're waiting to do the shopping until we're in AU (where FI is from).

    Based on my mom's scan, I was supposed to be a boy- so I'm sticking with gender neutral stuff until this kid comes out :)

    S&D- I'm having a hard time waiting until Tuesday! My doctor said he'll be about 90 percent sure. I had a really vivid dream last night where I was holding my son, but personally, I just want this baby to be healthy. I was originally Team Green, but now I wonder what I was thinking (no offense to those that are Team Green).
