What did you do with all of DC #1's clothes etc. if you have a second/third child of a different gender? We find out in a few days what we are having, and I am wondering if we are having a girl-what to do with all of DS's old clothes? (I have a feeling getting rid of them would be very hard!)
Re: Moms of 2+: If you have a DS and DD....
Knowing we wanted 3, we held onto our fav of both boy and girl clothes. We knew 3 was our limit, and when we founds out DS2 was a boy. I started getting rid of DD's old clothes. Luckily, I had a friend who was pregnant and due a couple of days after me who could use the girl. I was really attached to DD's clothes (I had wanted another girl...)
If the clothes were stained or I didn't really like them, I didn't save them. I still save DS1's clothes for DS2 but when he outgrows them they are gone as well as DDD. I either sale them at a consigment store or hand them down. We are D.O.N.E.

We will be done after #2. So I gave all of dd's clothes to SIL who is due with b/g twins around the same time as me. She has an older son, so this helped her be all set with clothing for the babies.
I got really lucky when one of our friends gave us her ds's old clothes. It's always nice when people pass on the clothing, especially that first year when stuff is hardly worn. If you give them to someone you know, you will also get to see their lo in the clothing occasionally which is cool.
I gave away some of DSs stuff but kept a few of the nicer things I really liked JIC we have one more.
Getting rid of clothes is really tough!
Storage in case we are blessed with a third! If not, I have two younger sisters who would kill me if I got rid of anything.
