Hair shed?

So I just remembered that with DD#1, I shed hair like mad pp and even blocked the shower. I also vaguely recall that it started later pp than I would have thought (like not immediately after birth) but I don't remember exactly when.

 DD#2 is almost 3 months and it hasn't started. Maybe I won't get it this time??

Did you ladies experience this? When does it start?

    I already started losing it but since I cut it all off I don't notice it as much. With DD it didn't start until 3 months pp.

    Ok in retrospect, it might have been more like 4mo with DD#1. Dang, I thought it was just different this time but it's just too early

    It started a few days ago for me.  I hate it and I'm scared that I will end up with no hair at all!!!  Just joking, but I really do hate it!

    I had that right away, just a few days after LO was born.  It probably lasted through the first month, but it's back to normal now.  Maybe it will start up again, but I hope not.

    My hair started falling out in GOBS about 2 weeks ago....I now make sure my hair is brushed out BEFORE I get dressed....

    Mine's been falling out for the last few weeks. I have naturally curly hair, and I've been wearing it curly lately because its easier. I thought I was losing so much hair just because of how I was styling it, but I guess it makes sense that it would be from hormones. This is a little excessive to be just from styling. It looks like Chewbacca was in the shower with me when I get out. My sister had bald spots after her second child because she was losing so much hair. She had to style it a certain way every single day to hide it. I hope I don't lose that much!

    My hair is long and thick... always has been.  Clumps of it have been falling out in the shower for weeks now.  It's ridiculous and I would not be at all surprised if there is a visit from Roto Rooter in my future.
