My DD is 6 1/2 months. She is eating 2 "meals" a day after feedings. Since starting solids she is eating less milk. She used to drink 35oz. a day and now she drinks about 28-30oz day. I know they say to keep her main source of food from milk, but is it okay if she starts to eat a little less milk? She is only getting a little bit of rice or oatmeal in the morning (sometimes a little fruit as well) and then about 2 oz. of fruits or veggies at night. Is this okay/normal? Thanks!
Re: How much less milk after starting solids?

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I just commented this in another post but here is what the pedi's say in the book Baby 411...
*6-9 months - 28-36 oz. formula/bm and 6-14 oz. food. The more ounces of food they eat, the lower amount of formula/bm they will take.
*9-12 months - 20-30 oz. formula/bm and 10-18 oz. food.
12 months + - 16 oz. whole or 2% milk and 3 solid meals a day plus 2 snacks.
Thank you, everyone!! I really appreciate all of your advice! We will just keep doing what we're doing then, sounds like it's pretty normal. Merry Christmas to everyone!
