Pregnant Woman's Rights? (need help with sources!)
I was catching up on recent posts and felt like this woman really needs more support: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/61465451.aspx
Someone posted the article from 2007 about the woman that was court ordered to have a c/s, but I thought I had read somewhere that there were new laws against that? Would love to see some solid sources! Thanks!

You would need to know what state she is in to really be of assistance. Some states have really bad restriction for VBAC (Florida being one)
She is 24-25 weeks along, she has time to find another office and hospital.
Are you thinking of the NIH VBAC consensus from 2010? They came out that women have a right to VBAC (though I think there was some debate about the rights of a fetus vs. a woman, or bodily autonomy or something). Anyhoo, you can see it here:

The book "Pushed" talked about the case I posted in the post you linked, but that was also published in 2007. Frankly, I think women need to start taking legal action against hospitals that have VBAC bans, as it's the only way to get across the fact that all women have a right to birth how they want...as it stands, I am pretty sure there is no specific legislation outlawing hospitals/doctors against performing c-sections against a woman's will.
