Success after IF

So I *know* I'm hormonal... (lol)

but Mom's Milk Boutique is making me SOB! I mean, the ugly cry! (and NOT in a good way!)

Last week I ordered a Becco ("ginger" but I wasn't picky) they announced half off! on FB. I had already had that one earmarked as the one I wanted (that or a burgundy ergo)and I was SO EXCITED that Davez was ok with the expense right around the holidays. My transaction went through without problem, and I thought I was good to go.

I know "business is business" but this was an EXTREMELY emotional purchase for me. This carrier was the 1st thing I allowed myself to purchase for Lucky.
It's important to me because obviously we're nervous she'll never arrive ok, and once she does, I don't want to ever let her go!
You can't imagine my disappointment when I checked on delivery today, and learned my order was refunded/canceled. I learned this via Paypal, NO other info was ever sent to me about this. Cue :::hawt mess::::
I get inventory, I understand these sold out quickly. But sometimes this is more than some butt butter or fluff...
these are REAL and emotional purchases us mommas make with our hearts.
They didn't just lose me as a customer, they made me CRY.
Don't sell things you can't do properly. 10 units means 10 orders. It's that simple.

and yes, I wrote them a letter. lol.

  • Oh no!  I've ordered from MMB since 2007, and I had never had a frustrating situation with them until Black Friday.  I wonder what's going on since usually I really like them.  I know Abb.y's Lane had some 50% off Beco Butterflies available a few days ago but I bet they're long gone. :(  (And AL always rocks with *amazing* communication and service...and a great Black Friday deal too. ;-) Those are my two faves historically, in fact.)  It sucks to find out that way, on top of the emotional investment you had.  Ugh...I'm sorry. :(

  • If you can't fine one that you like at the right price, I will give you mine until you do.  :)  I have other carriers that I can use for Avary for a while.

  • Sniff. You guys rock. (of course you do)

Update - so this morning I got a note back from my hawt mess of a complaint email. "Apology, gee I sent you an email, here's some other stores running the special and I checked and they both have the ginger in stock.... about the same price. " and I bought one from another store for about the same money.

    Standing down, lol.

(until I'm sure something ELSE will trigger my messness again. lol)

  • Hmm, was it an authentic apology?

I'm glad they helped you shop elsewhere. ;-)  That was good, at least.  And yay for your getting it -- great deal!

Other than my blip of annoyance with MMB last month (and I didn't place an order, so no skin off my back), I've never had anything but great experiences with them so I'm a bit bothered as someone who's referred literally hundreds of people to them.  Grr.  I'm glad they helped in the end, but it shouldn't have come to that.

Enjoy your Beco and your great deal! :)
