It's starting to feel real!

I have been hit with m/s like crazy this week! I got to see our lo's hb yesterday! And now that the holidays are here we've decided to announce...eek! Tomorrow we will announce to my fam and on Sunday with DH's fam! I know its early but we are keeping it in the immediate family for awhile...and would want their support if something happened. Getting our gifts ready it really hit me for some reason.

For my parents...I am giving them a grandkids photo album. The first 5 pages are filled with pics of my neices and nephew. On page six is a sign that says # 6 is on the way! Baby Linfor due 8/15/2012 and the u/s pic from yesterday will follow.

For DH's family...I always make MIL a calendar. On August I put a pic of our nephew (Who's bday is in August as well) AND my u/s pic from yesterday. On the 15th I wrote Baby Linfor due!

So I know we've talked about it already but for those of you also announcing this weekend...how do you plan on doing it? Merry Christmas everyone!!!

    I bought a babydoll and made up a coupon " redeem for one new grandchild in August 2012" We wrapped it up and will give it to both sets of parents for Christmas.

    We already told our parents and my family. However, tomorrow we are going to David's grandma's house for their family celebration. We got DD a "Best Big Sister Ever!" T shirt and are going to see how long it takes them to figure out that I'm pregnant lol.

    Our parents and siblings know, but we're telling DH's grandparents/cousins tomorrow night. (Everyone else is unfortunately getting a phone call since they live out of town) I'm giving his grandma some pictures from our Christmas session she's been asking for and in the stack is a picture of Lucas in his "Greatest Big Brother" shirt. I can't wait to see her reaction. Lucas was wearing the shirt when we told our parents and it was awesome.

    We are finally giving my parents an album from our wedding for Christmas....and I'm putting a card in the back that says "Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa". I'm excited to tell them:)

    Aw so cute! We are telling my parents and inlaws this weekend too. We got baby photo frames and I put a little note with an "apple seed" glued onto them that say:

    "Hi Grandma and Grandpa! I am the size of an apple seed right now. Please pray for me as I grow. See you in August!"

     I know it's early for me too, but we want to tell our immediate family on Christmas so bad!

    My DH is very close to his family and is over the top excited. He wanted his family to be the first to know so we are telling them on Christmas Eve. We bought 2 books and wrapped them to give to each of them. The books are "Grandma and Me" and "Grandpa and Me". Very cute books!

    My family, I am undecided right now on when I am going to tell them. Still thinking about that.

    We told my parents last night. I wanted to do something cute, but ran out of time. So when my mom was pointing out who each stocking belonged to (new stockings this year for DH, DS, my grandparents, and bro's gf) I asked her if she thought they'd have room for one more next year. They're pretty excited! I wouldn't have told this early but I wanted to do it in person, and we won't see them again until April.

    We already told both sets of parents, but we're telling my grandparents and aunt tomorrow at Christmas.  Since we're all drinkers, when the offer me wine I'm just going to say, "No thanks, I'm pregnant," and wait for them to register it...  I go the matter-of-fact route!
