My very special early Christmas gift from William

With apologies in advance to those who don't enjoy hearing about others' children's poo...

This just went down at our house:

Wills likes to run around naked and takes off his own diaper at least once a day, but he's doing well enough with potty training that we don't always rediaper him immediately.  He always asks to go to the potty.  Always.  Except, of course, for this morning:

He was in the kitchen with me when he stopped and deliberately peed on the floor.  Then he turned around and saw me and tried to take off, but he slipped in all that pee and thwacked the back of his cute little head on the hardwood floor.  Poor kiddo.  He had an ouch *and* he had hair full of pee.

So I got that cleaned up and went to get him a diaper.

When I came back into the kitchen, which adjoins the family room, he was in the family room (which also has hardwood floors, thank goodness) perched on the edge of the toy chest like a bird roosting:  Only the toes and balls of his feet were on the edge of the toy chest, and he was crouched down with his tushy hanging over the edge.  He looked up when I came around the corner and lost his balance, fell off, thwacked the back of his head on the floor *again*, picked himself up, and came running to me saying, "Pooooo-pooooooooo!  Poo-poo, Mommy!  Poooooo-pooooooooo!"  Sure enough, he actually had been roosting and there was a big poo waiting for me in the family room.  I can't imagine what possessed him to try actually, um, roosting.

So I got that all cleaned up too, got Wills cleaned up and diapered, and he was all, "I sowwy, Mommy.  I soooo sowwy..."

How can a mommy be mad at that?  That little guy is too cute for our collective good.
