Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone on this NY board is from SI? I live there but commute to Manhattan for work every day. Would be great to connect with local moms to see if there are any gatherings..Smile

    This is my first pregnancy and was wondering if there were any local classes, get togethers too. 

    What part of SI?  I'm border Great Kills/Eltingville.

    I'm in Bulls Head and work in the city as well!  Do you have any recs for pediatricians on SI?  I don't know anyone with kids here.

    Hi I'm Jenn,

    I seem to be trying to steal all of my boss's wife's doctors.  First it was her OBGYN and now it's their pediatricians.  You might want to try Dr. Greorge P. Roussis on Hylan Blvd.  His brother is the OBGYN that I was trying to steal (Dr. Nick Roussis).

    My boss likes George because he doesn't pressure them into doing things.  He gives them the good and the bad of a situation and allows them to make the decision.   And what I mean by that is like some doctors might push the flu shot on you and he doesn't.  I'm going to meet with him and see how I like him. 

    I'll try and get the name of the doctor that my brother uses for his kids too and get back to you.
