Sadly, me. But we get a 3hr early dismissal and I worked extra this week, so I am heading out at 10am.

Anyone else a slave to their job?

I'm working from the dr's office today (I have my SECOND 3hr GTT) but yes, I'm technically still working

You're telling me! This is the 4th GT I've had to take! 2, 1 hour tests and 2, 3 hour tests! I'm just glad it's the last one and I know I won't have to take another drink of that crap! I feel like crap after I drink it!!!

I'm at work and not happy about it. I have been requesting to go to 30 hrs/week for sometime now but my project deadlines shifted so I can't seem to cut my hours down. The higher up managers aren't being much help and I am stressed to the max!!! I could go into labor at any point and my projects are not ready yet....THIS SUCKS!!!!

I'm working today and what sucks is DH has to work till 9pm. I'm just thankful that we are scheduled off tomorrow and Monday, next year will be hard because the holiday is on a Tuesday and we will have to fight to get us both off on Christmas even and the day after.

I'm in the same boat. I wish they would just tell me when I get to take off. The day before holidays, they usually let us go early but it is so annoying to just sit and wait for my supervisor to decide it's time. I don't think it's professional. Plus, I don't even have anything to do. It's not like the work load is deciding when I get off, it's just random since I work in a typical office environment.

I worked today, until 12:30, when I had to leave to p/u my daughter who had early dismissal today at 1.

From there we went to the Social Security office so I could begin my name change, which I never got to after our wedding. Oops! With that done my daughter and I headed to DMV to change my name on my license too. It was impt to my husband to have the same name before the baby is born. Figured I should tackle it today while I had the time - I haven't wanted to leave work to get this done since I'm ALWAYS leaving to go to my Ob or my perinatologist or running out for lab work or leaving to hit my daughter's H'ween parade (etc, etc, etc). By the time we got home it was 5, we wrapped gifts together for 1 1/2 hours, my husband got home and we ordered pizza, ate, I got my daughter into bed and by the time I officially "sat down" it was 9pm.

HOW????

Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare - I still have so much left to do and I'm POOPED before I even get up in the morning...never mind that with the holiday it will be a late night. *yawn* going to bed now!
