So was pretty much lurking but after reading a post of people bashing the name someone else picked, it tempted me to see if i to would get bashed for my names.
My girl name is super common Alyssa, we havent set a middle name but all suggestions are welcome
My boy name is Jace Tyler, middle name is still negotiable but the first name stays.
Thoughts and opinions? middle name suggestions for Alyssa?
Re: My names, Love um? Hate um?
This board leans towards classic, spelled right, ages well. Unique in the sense of obscure more so than made up also gets points.
Alyssa is a great name. While it's not necessarily my style, it's a good solid, spelled right name.
Jace may get flamed. Personally I don't love or hate it. NMS.
Jace Tyler is cute though.
For Alyssa:
Colleen
Rose
Elizabeth
Jean
Jo
Beth
I like Alyssa. Alyssa Jane, Alyssa Camille, Alyssa Corinne, Alyssa Grace. Do you have any family names that you like and might want use?
I personally don't care for Jace. It sounds very Teen Mommish to me. I think Tyler is okay though.
I know a very sweet and spunky young lady named Alyssa so that's a good name for me. MN suggestions:
Noelle, June, Mae, Jane, Lou, Violet, Christine, Kate
Jace and Tyler are not my style, sorry.

I don't really like Jace. It doesn't seem like it would "grow well" and the only grown man I can imagine being named Jace is a biker or a tattoo artist. I don't see a CEO named Jace. Also, I know 4 little boys named Jace, fwiw. Tyler is ok.

Alyssa Nicole was my best friend's name growing up.
I really don't care for Jace and Tyler is just NMS.
I really cant picture a CEO named Jace either.
I still really love the name, i have an older distant cousin named Jace so i guess ive seen it aged.
We actually considered the name with our first son before the teen mom tv show ever came about but i get what you mean.
We really dont have any family member names we want to use. My middle name is Lynn so we've considered that before, but ive always thought it was a boring middle name growing up and not very girly.
First, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Jace Tyler! I would use it myself but for a variety of reasons, we can't use either name. :-(
Second, with all due respect, I completely disagree with the above post. I don't see how a person's name (or at least one like Jace) could possibly stop him from being a CEO. I am a partner in a large NYC law firm and would not even think twice if someone I was interviewing, an adversary's name or one of my partner's name was Jace. I think how the parent raises the child and ultimately how the child carries himself is far more relevant than the name.Love Alyssa. It's my niece's name, and we call her Lissie. Like PP stated, it's not my naming style, but it's a nice name.
I think that Teen Mom has ruined Jace for me. I don't think it's 100% terrible, but I don't really like it all that much. I do like Jace Tyler together.

Alyssa is nms but an ok name
I think Jace is pretty bad.
Alyssa is a beautiful name! One of my friends just had a baby & named her Alyssa Joanne.
I actually really like the name Jace despite the Teen Mom series lol. Jace was one of my top boys names when I was pregnant with my son, but it sounds kinda bad with our last name. Jace Tyler sounds great together. My son's middle name is Tyler, too.
Its pronounced Jase like Jason without the un sound.
I think Jay-cee would be more for a girl
Thanks for all your opinions i wouldnt expect for everyone to like the name, but its nice to see that some do.
I know not everyone liked my DS name Logan Wayne ( not a huge fan of Wayne but it is my DH middle name)
I like Alyssa. I think it would sound better with a one syllable mn.
I'm not a fan of Jace, although I've known a couple. Tyler is a fine name. It's pretty common where I'm from, but that's not necessarily a deterrent.
I like that i'll have to remember it "trashtastic"
Yeah im gonna use whatever name i want regardless who loves and hates it. I was just curious what people thought.
I knew a girl in high school named Alyssa and she was totally that style too.
Good thing i dont plan to raise my little girl that way.
People having a name can completely ruin it for me too. Nothing wrong with the name Amber but every girl i went to school with who had that name was trashy to put it nicely.
I like Alyssa Leigh.
Jace Tyler
My son is Jace, Jace Paul. I LOVE it, and dont know any other Jace's -that is what was kind of going for.
I like your girls name too. Do you have any family names that you could use for a MN?
