Hello ladies! Just wanted to stop in b/c I can't post from my i-gadgets. I'm lovin' hearing about all the babies being born and it is so exciting knowing that you're almost all at the end!
Our little Ryan Charles made his surprise appearence on Dec. 2nd, on his grandfather's (my dad's) 60th birthday. My water broke at 5:00 am, and we went right to the hospital. Ryan was delivered via c-section at 2:44 pm on the 2nd. Ryan was born at 35w 3 days, was 19 inches and 7.2 lbs. He was in the special care nursery for 12 days because he had some problems eating, which is very normal for a baby born 4 1/2 weeks early, but for me, it was a gigantic ordeal. I am in awe over the strength of the women on this board who have gone through far greater challenges with their babies than myself, knowing how many tears I shed and how much fear I felt for my little guy.
We have been home for over a week now, and I am loving being a momma, even at 3:00 am, with a screaming baby.
I'm looking forward to more birth stories in the upcoming weeks. I am thinking of you all and wishing you all the best!
