Putting together gifts
We bought Belle a table and chair set and an easel for Christmas. We haven't started putting any of it together yet. Mainly because we don't have a place to hide it until Christmas. We plan on starting tonight on the table and chair set and we will have to carefully maneuver around our room for a day. I am starting to get worried that we should have started sooner.
Do you have anything to put together this year? When do you usually put stuff together?

No, we didn't get him anything big that needs to be put together. But if I had something I would just hide it in the basement until Christmas.
My parents got Evan a train table and my dad has it all put together and set up in the basement. He said it took him almost 3 hours to do everything!
J put the table together three weeks ago because I didn't want to be surprised with missing pieces. The box has been "hiding" at the bottom of our basement stairs for three months.
We're not putting anything else together. Instead we'll do it on the fly Christmas morning.
P has been weird and won't "hide" any gifts in the basement. So both boxes are in our room up against the wall. She hasn't paid any attention to them. But because of him I have no place to "hide" this stuff when it's put together. I am afraid of missing pieces tomorrow.
You could have hid it in our basement...we would have told P that we put it in our closet.
You won't be missing pieces...I'm just cursed and now expect things like that for myself.
