I am a third time mom

But yes, very different. I was MUCH sicker this time.....killer morning sickness! Earlier rib pain, back pain, etc. I've also had trouble gaining weight this time.

Well, I had twins and now I'm having a singleton. Symptoms might be a tad worse this time around (or maybe I'm just exhausted because I have twin toddlers).

i have a 2 1/2 year old toddler (well, he's almost 3 sadly) and am pregnant with twins.

the symptoms b/tw the two pregancies were/are similar however with the twins everything is amplified. i had bad m/s with my first but it was NOTHING compared to the m/s i had with the twins. physically it was the worst thing ive ever experienced...worse than the worst IBS attack. it was so bad it messed with my thyroid level. but the type of morning sickness was the same....just nausea, no throwing up, but with my first it was bad nausea, with this pregnancy it was EXTREMELY bad nausea.

there were some minor differences like my boobs hurt much more with my first pregnancy and i had a lot of gas very early on that i didnt have with this pregnancy.

Symptoms have been more intense and lasted longer or started sooner.... much more puking, much more tired (though a toddler will do that to ya!), back aches and heartburn kicked in sooner.... yeah, i'm miserable

I actually have no symptoms at all other then being tired and hungry. I didnt have anything with DS either, so i'm hoping it stays that way. Although I'm not as far along as some.

I have an almost 6 year old daughter and my symptoms are totally different this time. With DD didn't really have MS. I made up for it this time though! Everything has just seemed amplified this time (swelling, tiredness, etc.). Whether that's a result of twins or an increase in my weight between pregnancies...I don't know.

not much different at all.... i was more tired, and a little more nausea, but still hardly any (first time i really didn't have any)... and i was chasing a toddler around so yea, that = more tired, too

Yeah, it's been different. I didn't have morning sickness with my son and I felt like crap for the entire first tri this time around. I've also been more tired, but like others have mentioned, I'm sure some of that is due to keeping up with an active 2 year old.

My biggest symptoms with DD was Heartburn and nausea.

So far with this PG its Fatigue and constant sinus issues

No symptoms with Emerson but, with the twins I was a bit nauseas. When I felt like that a glass of milk always took care of it!

I had the same kind of nausea this time around, but I was way more tired for a lot longer and feel a lot more pressure with this pregnancy.

I know my nausea has been worse. I am also exhausted, but I'm home with my DD and that probably helps with that. I feel more stretching this time, which I expected. I'm just hoping the nausea is almost done.

I have a 5 year old DD and I'm at 18 weeks with twin boys. So far DD was much worse. At 10 weeks I was in the hospital from being so sick, I blew out all the blood vessels in my eyes. With these boys I am still sick daily but it's nothing like it was with DD. Plus with her I had pre-e and a 5 day labor. Pre-e may happen again but the 5 day labor won't!!!

Yes. I had morning sickness from week 5 to about 18 and threw up at least 3+ times/week. With my DD, I gagged, but rarely ever threw up. I had to use zofran.

I also had heartburn much worse with the twins. I needed to use zantac with them.

I had virtually no morning sickness with my first. This time around I was nauseous earlier and it was worse. No puking or anything but the morning sickness lasted much longer throughout the entire day. I am more tired, I think, but I can't rest when I want to like I did with the first.

MUCH MUCH worse. I could barely tell I was pregnant with my first until I started showing. These guys have introduced me to a world of symptoms I had only barely heard of. Nosebleeds, severe morning sickness, heartburn, leg cramps, vericose veins, stretch marks (yes, already), horrible gas, constipation, headaches, THE WORKS!
